2. No material or labor cost will be covered for installed material damaged by accidents, abuse, misuse, or the use of strong chemicals, scratches, marks, stains, and other damage caused by exposure to “abrasives” such as pebbles, grit, sand, high heeled shoes, furniture, etc.; Indentations. For a full list please refer to our product warranty.
3. In case of a manufacturing defect, CFL Flooring will at its own discretion either provide replacement material or financial compensation.
4. Samples must have a claim label attached. CFL cannot be responsible for lost samples returned without a claim label attached.
5. Damaged samples cannot be tested. Triple-protect samples before shipping as they can be heavy; delivery drivers tend to drop and throw packages. Corner guards, bubble wrap, and extra packaging should be used. Products shipped without protection or product return forms will be rejected.
6. CFL Flooring stands behind the applicable industry standards for wood, resilient and laminate flooring. Any material under discussion will be analyzed against these standards.
Main standards: NALFA; EN13329; ASTMF1700; ASTMF3261; ISO10582; EN16511.
7. Claims MUST be accompanied by a final and complete claim value INCLUDING LABOR BILL. After filing the claim, this claim value cannot be altered. Each claim will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
8. Installed flooring will be inspected according to the applicable installation instructions and product warranty. Claims on material removed before claim submission will be rejected.
9. CFL reserves the right to claim costs for the delivery, inspections, and testing of the product that proves to be qualified but was poorly installed.
10. CFL Techsupport team will respond to the claim request within 4 working days. The response will be in the form of acknowledgment of receipt or a request for further information.
